Vanessa Wise

Vanessa Wise is the Vice President, Development, for The WNET Group.

Wise oversees all fundraising activities for The WNET Group, including membership, major gifts, foundation support and national and local underwriting.

Prior to joining The WNET Group, Wise served as Vice President of Development for New York City Center. During her time at NYCC, Wise spearheaded the design and launch of several new donor groups and fundraising initiatives, as well as the organization’s first affordable ticket program for students and families. She also led the strategy planning and fundraising efforts around NYCC’s 75th Anniversary.

Previously, Wise was Director of Development at The Juilliard School, where she also led annual giving and major gifts. Prior to joining The Juilliard School, Wise served as Senior Brand Manager for In Style, Time and Entertainment Weekly magazines for Time Inc.
