Derek Dickson

Derek Dickson is a skilled mechanical inspector with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working at Wolf Midstream since August 2022. Previous roles include mechanical inspector positions at Deltastream Energy Corporation and Enbridge, as well as pipeline inspector at Huron Energy Corporation, where notable projects included the completion of 32km of underground piping. Earlier in the career, Derek worked as a contract facility and pipeline inspector/supervisor at Bellatrix Exploration Ltd., involving various phases of construction projects and quality assurance. Beginning as a general laborer and welding apprentice at W. Pidhirney Welding Ltd., Derek advanced to a journeyman welder at 5D Enterprises Inc., gaining proficiency in structural and B-pressure rig welding. Educational qualifications include a degree in Welding Technology from Red Deer Polytechnic and certification from the Canadian Welding Bureau.
