Michael Maurer

Michael Maurer is an experienced project management professional with a strong background in engineering and project execution. Currently serving as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Victoria and as a Project Management Advisor for 1624007 AB Limited and Wolf Midstream, Michael has extensive experience in both academic and advisory roles. Previous roles include Program Manager at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed major capital project execution, and Senior Project Manager at Veresen Inc. and Amec Foster Wheeler, focusing on gas processing facility expansions and feasibility studies for various projects. Michael also held managerial positions at Fluor Industrial Services, overseeing maintenance and reliability engineering at the Kennecott Utah Copper smelter, and has a solid educational foundation with an MSc in Structural Engineering and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
