Senior Director, Communications And Marketing at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts

Jo LaBrecque has a strong background in marketing and communications. Jo has held senior-level positions in various arts organizations, including the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and The Washington Ballet. In these roles, Jo was responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communications campaigns. Jo also served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for both the Washington National Opera and the Houston Grand Opera. Jo's expertise includes managing collateral materials, direct mail, advertising, websites, newsletters, and press releases. Jo has also developed media databases and email marketing systems. Jo LaBrecque attended the University of Houston from 1981 to 1986, where they studied Pre-Med and Psychology. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1980, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, focusing on History and Political Science. From 1975 to 1978, Jo attended Ball State University, where they also studied History and Political Science. In 2007, Jo returned to the University of Houston to pursue a degree in Communications, but no specific details about the completion of the degree were provided. Additionally, Jo obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
