Sara Beesley

Vice President, Program & Production at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts

Sara Beesley has a diverse work experience in the performing arts industry. Sara began their career as an intern at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in 2006 before becoming an Associate Director from 2007 to 2014. At Joe's Pub, they played a significant role in supporting young artists and promoting new work. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Registrar at the National Guitar Workshop from 2004 to 2008, where they focused on providing music education to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, and vocalists. Since 2014, Sara has been the Vice President of Program & Production at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, where they are responsible for creating excellent performing arts experiences for diverse audiences through concert and performance programming. At Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, Sara oversees over 100 performances every summer across all genres.

Sara Beesley attended Manhattanville College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Music Management. During their time at the college, they studied various subjects including Music Theory & History, World Music, Publishing & Copyright Law, Contracts & Legal Issues, and Marketing.
