Timothy Shields

Timothy Shields has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Timothy began their career as a Graphic Designer at ASMSU Films, where they designed movie posters and created advertisements. Timothy then worked as a Production Artist at Kaufmann's, where they developed templates and signage standards.

Transitioning into the field of technology, Timothy joined Freemarkets Inc as an Intern, developing custom internal applications. Timothy also worked at Gateway Travel Management as a Programmer/Analyst, automating report generation and assuming the role of webmaster. During this time, they expanded their skillset by learning PHP and MySQL.

Timothy's next role was at Digital River as a Senior Software Engineer. Timothy led a team of developers on various projects and maintained API integrations with search engines. Timothy also wrote technical specifications for the team.

Following this, Timothy joined OmniCard, a subsidiary of Blackhawk Network, as a Senior Web Developer. Timothy worked on multiple projects within the GiftCards.com family of eCommerce applications, primarily leading the development of OmniCard.

In 2010, Timothy joined Wolfe as a Senior Web Developer. Finally, in 2017, they joined GiftYa in the same role. Throughout their career, Timothy has demonstrated strong technical skills and has taken on leadership roles in software development.

Timothy Shields obtained their Master's Degree in Internet Information Systems from Robert Morris University during the period of 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1994 to 1998.
