Tim Oyer

Tim Oyer is a highly experienced professional in the field of intellectual property law, currently serving as a Shareholder, President, and Managing Partner at Wolf Greenfield since July 1991. Oyer plays pivotal roles in the firm as a member of the Executive Management Team, as well as the Chair of the firm Practice Group Leaders. Oyer leads the Attorney Committee Chairs and manages both the Attorney and Technology Specialist Training and Hiring processes. Additionally, Oyer is recognized for expertise in nanotechnology and chemistry materials-related intellectual property as a Practice Group Leader. Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Oyer held roles as a Teaching and Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and as a Researcher at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Oyer's academic credentials include a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from MIT, a JD from Suffolk University Law School, and a BA in Chemistry from Goshen College, complemented by executive education from Harvard Law School.
