Brad Janes

Brad Janes is a seasoned professional in the field of mathematics and software development, currently serving as the Wolfram|Alpha Math Content Manager since July 2015 at Wolfram. In this role, Brad Janes oversees a team of approximately 10 software developers, interns, and contractors, managing various aspects such as hiring, schedules, and budgets, while also advocating for team development and actively participating in coding projects. Prior to this, Brad Janes held positions as a Developer and Junior Developer within the same organization, contributing to the development of step-by-step math programs and maintaining subject domains. With a background as a Quality Analyst at Wolfram Alpha, along with teaching experience in mathematics and physics, Brad Janes possesses a strong foundation in both education and technology. Brad Janes holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University, complemented by international experience at Kanda University of International Studies.
