Jason Bak

Jason Bak is a Mechanical Engineering student at Cornell University, expected to graduate in May 2027. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at US Public Health Services since May 2025, Jason has contributed to municipal water and wastewater systems through engineering reports and fieldwork in collaboration with Indigenous American tribes. In addition, Jason works as a researcher for Wolfram, promoting the Wolfram Technology Stack while conducting computational mathematics research with Python. As an undergraduate researcher at Cornell, Jason collaborates with Professor Robert Karpman on healthcare simulation projects aimed at optimizing hospital efficiency. Prior experience includes providing technology support in a vocational school setting, enhancing issue resolution and equipment functionality.
