Jon Woodard

Jon Woodard has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jon is currently serving as the Director of Emerging Technology Strategy & Ventures at Wolfram since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Wolfram Blockchain Labs starting from March 2018. Jon has also worked as an Advisor for numerous start-ups since June 2021.

Jon has been actively involved in mentoring and accelerating start-ups. Jon served as a Business Mentor at Techstars Seattle Accelerator from October 2022 to January 2023 and as a Techstars All-Star Mentor at Techstars from January 2022 to January 2023. Jon was a Lead Mentor at Techstars Iowa Accelerator from July 2022 to October 2022, mentoring companies like Cambrian Protocol and Emigrait. Additionally, they served as a Lead Mentor at Filecoin Techstars Accelerator from March 2022 to June 2022.

Before their entrepreneurial and mentoring roles, Jon worked at Wolfram in various positions. Jon started as a Jr. Business Development Associate at Wolfram|Alpha LLC from February 2011 to February 2013. Jon then moved to Wolfram as a Sr. Business Development Associate from March 2013 to November 2015 and later became an Analyst from December 2015 to February 2018.

Jon Woodard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University. Jon also earned a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering - Computational Neuroscience from Boston University.
