Mark Long

Mark Long is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in technical writing, publishing, and education. Currently serving as Senior Technical Communications Manager and previously as Senior Editorial Content Manager at Wolfram since April 2021, Mark oversees the management of CEO Stephen Wolfram's blog and coordinates publishing efforts across various departments. With a role as Publisher for The Waco Insider since June 2018, Mark also has a background in journalism, having worked for The Blueprint as a Business & Technology Journalist and as a Reporter for Knowhere. Additionally, Mark's experience includes expert technical writing at Express Writers and providing academic support as an Online Writing Tutor at SMARTHINKING, Inc. Mark has taught English and communication courses at several institutions, including Baylor University and McLennan Community College, and has extensive experience in publishing from tenure at Texas State Technical College Waco. Mark holds an MA in English from the University of North Texas and a BA in English from The University of Texas at Austin.
