Simone Kaiser

Simone Kaiser is an experienced language professional with a strong background in translation, interpretation, and guiding. Currently serving as an Expedition Guide Interpreter at HX Expeditions since June 2022, Simone also works as a German Translator for Wolfram, focusing on software localization and Natural Language Processing. With freelance translation experience dating back to 2011, Simone specializes in diverse fields such as humanities, agriculture, and technical documentation. Previous roles include translating and analyzing media at Meta Communication International, guiding agricultural tours at Agria Tours, and assisting in program coordination at the Goethe-Institut Chicago. Simone holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting from the University of Graz and a Master of Arts in European Union Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Simone is a trained instructor in German as a Foreign Language.
