Al Badowski is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in diffusion processing and semiconductor manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Process Engineer at Wolfspeed since January 2022, Al has previously held key positions at Microchip Technology Inc. as a Principal Process Engineer and at ON Semiconductor as a Staff Process Engineer, where Al led initiatives that improved furnace throughput and yield. Al's earlier experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Process Engineer at LSI Logic, focusing on gate oxidation processes, and as a Process Engineer at Whiteoak, where Al played a pivotal role in the startup of an 8" DRAM line. Al began a career in the semiconductor field at Air Products as a Laboratory Technician while pursuing a master's degree in Physics at Lehigh University, having also earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
