Darren Cooper

Darren Cooper has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Darren currently holds the position of Procurement Director at Wolfspeed since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Texas Instruments for over two decades, holding various roles including IT Director and IT Services Procurement Manager. At Texas Instruments, they provided leadership to a global team of IT professionals, ensured compliance with IT security policy, and implemented initiatives to support factory growth. Before Texas Instruments, they worked as a Product Marketing Specialist at BOC Edwards and as a Product Support Engineer at Hitachi High Technologies America. Darren began their career at Twinstar Semiconductor as an Equipment Engineer, where they installed and supported wafer fab semiconductor equipment and implemented improvement programs to enhance equipment availability and reduce costs.

Darren Cooper obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, completing their education from 1989 to 1995.
