David Guynn

David Guynn currently serves as the Global Director of Emergency Services at Wolfspeed since April 2023. Prior to this role, David held various positions at the City of Roanoke, VA, including Fire-EMS Deputy Chief and Fire Marshal/Battalion Chief of Fire Prevention from November 2018 to April 2023. David also worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the Fire Safety and Emergency Response Manager/University Fire Marshal from July 2015 to October 2018, overseeing multiple fire safety and emergency response functions. Earlier experience includes serving as the Emergency Response Team Coordinator at Wolfspeed from June 2014 to July 2015, providing guidance for a large emergency response team, and delivering advanced life support services as a Medic in Salem and a Firefighter/Medic in Roanoke. David holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Roanoke College.
