Eliot Baker

Eliot Baker is a Process Sustaining Engineer at Wolfspeed since December 2022, bringing a strong background in environmental engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, obtained in May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an undergraduate researcher and NASA Space Grant Intern at the University of Arizona, where Eliot exhibited quick learning in laboratory protocols and demonstrated effective communication skills with researchers and professors. As a preceptor for Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow/Mass Transfer courses, Eliot displayed leadership in guiding exam reviews and collaborated on curriculum development while ensuring timely and accurate evaluation of student work. Additional roles include working as a paid circulator for Grassroots Advocates, utilizing interpersonal skills for political outreach, and fulfilling a host position at Chili's, where Eliot managed customer interactions and coordinated service flow in a high-pressure environment.
