Eric McCallig possesses extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing and quality assurance, currently serving as VP of Manufacturing Quality at Wolfspeed since June 2021, with previous roles including Senior Director and Director of Manufacturing Quality. Prior to Wolfspeed, Eric held the position of Director of Quality at Akoustis Technologies, Inc. and served at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as Sr. Manager/Deputy Director of Quality. Eric's career began at IBM, where various roles included Engineering Manager, Program Manager, and Device Characterization Engineer, complemented by an earlier position as Process Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Eric holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University.
