Michael Pollard has extensive work experience in the legal field, with a focus on compliance, ethics, and risk management. Michael began their career as an Associate at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. in 1998. From 1999 to 2009, they served as a Senior Corporate Counsel at U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company - Subsidiary of UST, Inc. In 2011, they joined ATMI as a Senior Corporate Counsel, where they reported to the Chief Legal Officer and was responsible for global compliance and risk management. Additionally, they provided legal support to various service departments and managed related litigation. In 2014, they transitioned to Cree, Inc. (later known as Wolfspeed), where they held the role of VP Legal and Chief Compliance Officer. Throughout their career, they demonstrated strong expertise in legal matters, with a particular focus on compliance and risk management.
Michael Pollard received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 1992. Michael then attended Quinnipiac University School of Law from 1995 to 1998, where they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree. In 1996, they briefly studied Comparative Law at Trinity College Dublin. Michael completed their secondary education at Greenwich High School from 1984 to 1987.
