Peter Sakakini

Peter Sakakini currently serves as the Director of US R&D, Power Modules Engineering at Wolfspeed, focusing on product development encompassing design, simulation, and process development, from prototype to volume production. Prior experiences include Senior Manager of Process Development Engineering at II-VI Incorporated and managerial roles at Finisar Corporation and MicroVision Inc. Peter's career began at Texas Instruments, where significant contributions included the development of high-volume packaging materials and mechanical designs for wire bonding applications. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
