Ramya Gurunathan

Ramya Gurunathan is an AI/ML Research Scientist at Wolfspeed since March 2023, focusing on advanced analysis and characterization methods in SiC crystal growth and wafering. Prior experience includes a Materials Research Engineer role at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from December 2021 to March 2023, where Ramya contributed to projects involving deep learning applications and scientific software development. Ramya holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, where research included multiscale modeling of semiconductors, and has interned at various prestigious institutions such as Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Cambridge.
