Shane Donaher is an AOI Process Engineer at Wolfspeed since May 2023, focusing on developing recipes for automated optical inspection equipment to identify defects in the fabrication process. Prior to this role, Shane was an Undergraduate Researcher at Penn State University from September 2020 to May 2023 within the Department of Chemical Engineering, working under Dr. Milner. Shane previously interned at Wolfspeed in the summer of 2022, gaining experience in silicon carbide wafer microstructure and defect identification. Earlier work experience includes roles as a Construction Worker and Estimator Intern at Carter Mechanical, as well as serving as a Youth Conservation Corps member with the National Park Service. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University, earned in 2023.
