Tim Childs

Tim Childs is currently serving as the Critical Life Safety Systems and Instrument & Controls Manager at Wolfspeed since May 2023. Prior to this role, Tim held positions at Intel Corporation as the LSS and Fire Protection System Owner from August 2022 to May 2023, and at Samsung Austin Semiconductor as the Life Safety Systems Supervisor from May 2017 to August 2022, overseeing Fire and Gas Detection Systems. Tim also worked as a Life Safety Systems Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from April 2011 to May 2017 and began his career as an EHS Specialist at SUNY Polytechnic Institute from May 2006 to April 2011. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
