Anthony Hu has been working in the software development industry since 2001. Starting their career as a Software Engineer at Seiko-Epson Sapporo Software Laboratory, they worked on embedded Linux development on ATI Xilleon DTV platforms, embedded Linux development on Zoran Cougar G9 DTV platforms, embedded Linux multi-media application development, and face detection algorithm development. In 2005, they moved to AMD as a Software Application Engineer. In 2009, they joined SlipStream (Subsidiary of Research In Motion) as a Software Developer. In 2012, they joined BlackBerry as an Application Software Developer: Advanced Connectivity and Application Software Developer: Cascades Field Agent. In 2015, they moved to ISARA Corporation as a Security Developer. Currently, they are a Senior Software Developer at wolfSSL.

Anthony Hu attended the University of Waterloo from 1995 to 2000, where they earned an Honours Co-op Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science.
