Embedded Software Engineer at wolfSSL

Brett Nicholas has an extensive work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Brett started their career in 2013 as a VLSI Design Intern at Broadcom. Brett then worked as a Teaching Assistant for Digital Electronics at Dartmouth College from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Avatech, Inc. as an Embedded Firmware Engineer. After that, they worked at WebSensing as an Embedded Systems Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Brett concurrently pursued a Master's degree at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, where they served as an MSc student from 2016 to 2018. From 2017 to 2022, Brett worked at Sarcos Robotics as a Technical Lead for the Embedded Software Team. Currently, they hold the position of an Embedded Software Engineer at wolfSSL since March 2023.

Brett Nicholas received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Engineering Science from Dartmouth College in 2015. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth from 2015 to 2016. Following this, Brett Nicholas continued their education at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from 2016 to 2017.
