Patrick Ernst

Patrick Ernst is currently the Applied Science Lead for Conversational AI at Wolt. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes, where they conducted research on Biomedical Knowledge Base Construction from Text. Prior to their current role, Patrick held positions at Amazon as a Senior Applied NLP Scientist and at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics as a Postdoc and Doctoral Researcher, contributing significantly to the fields of Information Extraction and Natural Language Processing. They also gained experience as an intern at Siemens Corporate Research and as a Research Assistant at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science.
