Szonja Ran

Szonja Ran currently serves as the Sustainability Manager at Wolt, a position held since February 2024. Prior experience includes four years at TIER Mobility, where responsibilities spanned from leading global sustainability initiatives, including carbon accounting and corporate strategy implementation, to public policy roles focused on expansion planning and M&A integration. Previous roles include research fellow at the German Federal Association for Sustainability, where policy advocacy was emphasized, and climate security consultant for adelphi. Szonja's background also includes extensive work in community engagement and project management for organizations such as the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and the City of Davis. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and History from the University of California, Davis.
