Phil Hayward

Phil Hayward is an experienced leader in high-performance sport, currently serving as the Director of Performance at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, where they lead the performance and medical departments. With over 16 years at Wolves, Hayward has developed a deep understanding of the game, bridging the gap between training and boardroom decision-making. Previous roles include founder of The Elite Performance Consultancy and Director of Performance and Sport Science at LA Galaxy. They hold an MSc in Manual Therapy from Coventry University and a BSc (Hons.) in Physiotherapy from Manchester School of Physiotherapy. Hayward is passionate about optimizing athletic performance and fostering high-performance environments.
