Women4Biodiverisity (W4B) is a global women’s network that promotes and advocates for the recognition and protection of women’s and girls' rights to a healthy environment. Our mission is to support and amplify the initiatives and practices in conservation that are rooted in ensuring women’s empowerment, and gender equity and where we envision paying the path for collective actions of women and girls to thrive and realise their full potential with dignity, love and respect.

Our work involves building synergies around the work of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), and other international arenas to provide direction for more coherent and inclusive processes while ensuring their proper implementation.
