Women are deeply involved in every aspect of agriculture and conservation. The Women’s Ag Network (WAN) is a statewide program created to support, connect, and elevate women across agriculture, conservation, and related industries in South Dakota.

WAN provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful connection. Through events, education, mentorship, and peer-to-peer collaboration, the network supports women in learning, connecting, and driving positive change in their communities.
A key feature of WAN is our local HUBS, community-based groups across the state that bring women together in their regions. HUBS offer regular opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate, whether through in-person meetings, workshops, or networking events, making it easier for women from all walks of life to engage with the network close to home. Current HUB locations include Brookings, Eagle Butte, Huron, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, and South Central South Dakota.

Women in agriculture and conservation come from all backgrounds, from those living and working on farms to conservationists, bankers, engineers, agronomists, teachers, agri-business professionals, veterinarians, and more. WAN is a place to connect, learn, and grow together.

No matter your role or experience, you belong here. Join us and be part of a community supporting women who are leading the way in agriculture and conservation across South Dakota.
