Jen-Che Lai

Jen-Che Lai has over 10 years of experience in software development. From 2019 to present, they have been working as an iOS Team Lead at Wondercise Technology Corp., where they are responsible for delegating tasks from upper management to team members and conducting code reviews with Bitbucket pull requests. Additionally, they have provided mentoring to less-experienced team members and discussed products and features to be released with the product design team. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at LoFTech, where they created a macOS app for Juiker, developed instant messages feature by using XMPP framework, implemented voice call feature by using PJSIP framework, tested function correctness by writing XCTest cases and using Postman, built SDK for app's core features, and switched app's development main language from Objective C to Swift. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), where they developed an iOS app for Juiker, built voice call feature by using Linphone framework, used UIKit to make custom UI controls for interface building, designed views' navigation flow and implemented them, added food selection and input feature for recording diet data, used mapkit to display restaurants data on map and show guidance if in navigation, and implemented checking mechanism for update app's internal resources.

Jen-Che Lai attended National Taiwan University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
