Jorge Villacorta

Jorge Villacorta is a skilled engineering leader with extensive experience in developer experience, product development, and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Wonolo since December 2019, Jorge has been instrumental in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and architecting tools that enhance developer productivity. Previously, Jorge held various roles at CloudStreet Gaming, including Engineering Manager and Technical Product Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the product development lifecycle for a cross-casino gaming system. Earlier experience includes positions at Upsight and Fuse Powered Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer, and roles in quality assurance and product research at Voice on the Go. Jorge's professional foundation includes leadership positions in the coffee trade and sales management, complemented by formal education in Computer Engineering and International Business Management.
