Stephanie Nieman

Stephanie Nieman serves as Managing Director at Leeds Illuminate, focusing on enhancing educational outcomes and economic access through impactful investments. Since February 2021, Nieman has also contributed as a Board Member for both The Mom Project and Wonolo. Previously, Nieman was a Principal at SJF Ventures, where responsibilities included investing in high-growth companies in energy, health, and education until February 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of Developed Market Standards at B Lab and Sales & Business Development at Pearson Education. Nieman's educational background includes an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Graduate Certificate in International Development Policy from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
