Woodfordia Inc is a values-led cultural organisation exploring how the world could be, not just how it is.

Based on Jinibara Country in South East Queensland, Woodfordia brings together culture, community and environmental stewardship to test new ways of living, governing and caring for land. It is a living experiment in sustainability, long-term thinking and shared responsibility, where creativity and dialogue are used to imagine more connected, regenerative futures.

Woodfordia takes a long view. Its work is guided by intergenerational custodianship, ecological restoration and cultural inclusion, with a belief that healthy communities and healthy environments are inseparable. Artists, thinkers, volunteers and partners contribute to an evolving ecosystem where ideas are explored in practice, not theory.

Best known as the home of the Woodford Folk Festival, Woodfordia’s purpose extends far beyond a single event. It exists as a year-round cultural home, powered by people who believe culture can lead, land must be cared for, and the future is something we actively shape together.
