Mark Michell

Mark Michell has extensive experience in geoscience and survey operations, having held various positions at notable companies in the industry. Beginning as a General Manager at Thales GeoSolutions from 2002 to 2004, Mark transitioned to a Geodetic Operations Specialist at Devon Energy from 2006 to 2009, followed by a Supervisor role in Geodetic Operations at Devon Energy until February 2011. Mark then joined BHP, where multiple roles included Surveyor, Superintendent of Seismic & Survey Operations, Supervisor of Geohazards & Geomatics, and Manager of Geohazards & Geomatics from July 2011 to October 2013. After a brief tenure as Supervisor of Geomatics at BHP Billiton Petroleum, Mark returned to Devon Energy for a short time before becoming the Superintendent of Seismic & Survey Operations at Woodside Energy in June 2022, a position held to the present.
