Mark Sim is a graduate AI engineer at Woodside Energy, beginning in February 2024, after serving as a data science intern with the same company from November 2022 to February 2023. Mark has extensive experience in data science, evidenced by leadership roles including vice president of the Data Science Club of UWA and various positions within the organization. Further experience includes internships at the Australian Bureau of Statistics as a data engineering intern, and Stats Perform as a data collector. Earlier roles include a UI/UX internship at the Department of Communities WA and a crew member position at McDonald's. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and Data Science from The University of Western Australia and completed an exchange program in Data Science at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Education includes the completion of WACE at Perth Modern School from 2015 to 2019.
