Simon Mitchell

Simon Mitchell is an experienced professional in turnaround execution and maintenance coordination within the energy sector, currently serving as the Turnaround Execution Scope Owner for the North Rankin Complex at Woodside Energy since December 2019. Prior roles at Woodside include various maintenance coordination positions for both offshore and onshore turnarounds, where Simon was responsible for planning and execution readiness. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Monadelphous, focusing on campaign and turnaround resource estimation, as well as mechanical technician roles at Fircroft, Perenco, and BP, where Simon gained extensive hands-on experience in maintenance activities. Simon holds a BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and a BTEC Level 3 National Certificate in Engineering Maintenance from Hull College.
