Jon Downey

Jon Downey has over 20 years of experience in various roles at Woolpert and Woolpert Digital Innovations. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director at Woolpert Digital Innovations. In their previous roles at Woolpert, they held positions such as Senior Vice President, Director, Product Delivery, Chief Innovation Officer, Vice President, Director, Google Cloud and Maps, Program Manager - Geospatial Research & Development, Group Manager - Applied Research & Application Development, and Federal Regional Manager, Enterprise Information Management. Throughout their career, Jon has demonstrated expertise in technical subject matter, research, sales support, and team leadership.

Jon Downey attended Sinclair Community College from 1996 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS). In 2002, they enrolled in Wright State University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Throughout their education, their field of study included Computer Science and Management. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained certification as a Certified Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute. Later, in 2013, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
