Bud Wright

Bud Wright is a seasoned transportation policy consultant with extensive experience in the field. Since January 2019, Bud has been self-employed, providing expert consultancy services. Concurrently, Bud serves on the Surface Transportation Advisory Board at Woolpert and as a Council Member for the Gerson Lehman Group. In addition, Bud holds a position on the North America Advisory Board for Meridiam Infrastructure North America Corporation. Previously, Bud was the Executive Director at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials from January 2013 to January 2019 and at the Federal Highway Administration from 2001 to 2008. Bud also operated Bud Wright Transportation Policy Consulting between January 2008 and January 2013. Bud earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Virginia Tech between 1970 and 1974.
