Kyle Mckay

Kyle Mckay is the Environmental Director at Woolpert and leads initiatives focused on complex ecological issues. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Civil Engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they managed interdisciplinary teams and contributed significantly to ecosystem restoration projects amounting to $646 million in funding. Kyle has also engaged in academic roles as an adjunct faculty member at both The University of Georgia and Brooklyn College, teaching courses in ecology and urban water management. They are a principal representative for the Department of Defense on the National Nature Assessment's federal steering committee and continue their education towards a PhD in Ecology at The University of Georgia.
