Leah Stender is the Discipline Leader for Urbanism & Planning at Woolpert, where they oversee teams focused on Federal Planning, Community Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Sustainability Planning. Previously, Leah served as a Program Manager at WalkSanDiego, managing projects that enhanced community safety and mobility. Leah's experience includes working as a Community Planner at RBF Consulting and a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They also founded Momma Mindset Coaching, LLC, to support women and mothers in overcoming burnout. Leah holds a BS in Biology from Principia College and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
