Mark Zara, PE, is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive expertise in roadway design and project management. Currently serving as the Roadway Team Leader at Woolpert since April 2017, Mark supervises a team of twelve, ensuring optimal workload distribution and performance. Previously, Mark held roles as the Roadway Phase Manager and Senior Transportation Engineer at Woolpert, where project responsibilities included major initiatives for ODOT, KYTC, and local municipalities, such as highway bridge replacements and roadway expansions. Before that, Mark worked as a Senior Transportation Engineer at AECOM and as a Highway Engineer at Borton-Lawson, leading various roadway projects, including new alignments and intersection improvements. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, awarded in 2007.
