Qassim Abdullah

Qassim Abdullah is a seasoned professional in the field of geospatial services, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Scientist at Woolpert, Inc. since September 2012. Abdullah has extensive academic experience, holding adjunct faculty positions at The Pennsylvania State University and the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where contributions include developing new courses and teaching graduate-level GIS subjects. Previously, a Chief Scientist at Fugro EarthData, Inc., Abdullah directed projects like the North Carolina Statewide Floodplain Mapping Program and held significant roles in academic institutions in Iraq, leading initiatives in remote sensing. Abdullah earned a Ph.D. in Photogrammetry from the University of Washington, where education was completed from 1980 to 1984.
