Geospatial Technician III

Sara Elmore is an accomplished geospatial professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations since 2008. Currently serving as a Geospatial Technician III at Woolpert, Sara focuses on federal government geospatial projects, leading a significant initiative on mapping sea level rise impacts on Naval facilities worldwide and creating hydro datasets for the USGS. Previous positions include Geospatial Analyst at Optimal GEO and Community Transportation Planning Specialist at the Tennessee Department of Transportation, overseeing key planning organizations and engaging with local governments. Sara's background also encompasses roles as an Archaeological Technician and GIS Coordinator at both Desert West Environmental, LLC and USU Archaeological Services, where geospatial analysis and cultural resource management were central responsibilities. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology/Archaeology from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Jacksonville State University.
