David Hendricks

David Hendricks is an IT Audit Specialist at Woolworths since December 2025. Prior to this role, David served as the Information Systems Audit Manager at BDO South Africa from September 2022 to November 2025, where responsibilities included leading IT audit functions and providing guidance on IT governance and risk management. Earlier experiences include positions as a Senior Associate Consultant in Technology Risk at EY from January 2020 to September 2022, and various roles as an Associate Consultant in Technology Risk. David began a career in academia as an Information Systems Tutor at the University of the Western Cape in 2017. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Management from the University of the Western Cape.
