Junior Muka

Junior Muka, Ph.D., is a seasoned Data Governance Specialist at Woolworths, with extensive experience in data management planning, data development, and data architecture management. Since July 2007, Junior has advanced through various roles, including Data Steward and Data Architect for Business Intelligence, culminating in responsibilities that encompass the strategic management of data governance initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance. In addition to corporate experience, Junior serves as an Extraordinary Professor and Research Fellow at Stellenbosch University and is a part-time lecturer at the University of the Western Cape. Junior holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Information Quality from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and possesses a Master's degree in Data Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Junior has also contributed to the field through speaking engagements and participation in industry conferences.
