Melissa Amado is a seasoned entrepreneur and mentor with extensive experience in business, technology, and environmental science. In 2024, Melissa co-founded BeE3 LabTech, a research company focused on optimization, simulation, and environmental challenges. Melissa also serves as a mentor at UTEC Posgrado, guiding postgraduate students, and supports women entrepreneurs through roles as an Ambassador at Their Global Impact and as a member of WomenCEOPeru. As Marketing Director at WAAIME Peru, Melissa enhances visibility for young talents in the mining sector and mentors aspiring engineers at Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú. Additionally, Melissa's leadership at Young Mining Professionals Perú fosters networking opportunities and career development. Melissa co-founded Mining AI Tech, where innovative AI-driven solutions for the mining industry were developed. Melissa holds a Master’s in Social Innovation and Sustainable Economy from Universidad de Salamanca and has a background in International Business from Universidad de San Martín de Porres.
