Jun Ann Sia has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jun Ann started their career in 2005 as a management trainee and later became the Boutique Manager at The Melium Group, where they were responsible for brand management, marketing activities, and staff management. Jun Ann then worked as an Operations Manager at Automotive Synergy Incorporated Sdn.Bhd, where they handled sales, marketing, HR, and office administration. Jun Ann also worked as a Regional Account Manager at Aspire Brands, managing sales and marketing for beauty and skincare brands. Jun Ann then joined Advocacy as a Senior Project Manager and later became an Advocacy Project Lead at Philips. In 2018, they worked at WOOP and ADVOCACI MARKETING BV as the Head of Projects and Content, respectively. Their role involved using technology and psychology to help brands engage with customers and generate word-of-mouth.

Jun Ann Sia began their education at Garden International School from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained an International General Certificate of Secondary Education. They went on to attend RMIT University from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design. In 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in Arts Management at the University of Melbourne, completing it in 2004. Later on, in 2010, Jun Ann Sia enrolled in a Chinese Language Program (Non-degree) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and achieved the Elementary 3 Level.
