Ryan Ota has worked in a variety of roles across a range of industries. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Villa Club Pool Side Server/Shuttle Operation/Private Bar at The Resort at Pelican Hill. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Manager at Joey's Smokin' BBQ and also as a Self-Employed Web Designer & Developer, developing websites for Joey's Smokin' BBQ and Quality Golf. In 2015, they became the General Manager at Baby Blues BBQ, where they handled all day to day operations. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Customer Success Engineer at Chartio, where they were promoted to Senior Customer Success Engineer within 6 months. At Woopra, they have been a Senior Customer Success Engineer since 2018, responsible for enterprise onboarding, bug management/prioritization during sprint planning (SCRUM), educational/technical documentation, video tutorial creation, t2-3 technical support, webinars, and enterprise account management. Ryan also works as a bridge between the customers and the product team to help brainstorm and prioritize new product features.

Ryan Ota attended Irvine Valley College from 2003 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
