Andy Mitchell is an experienced sports journalist currently serving as a Sports Reporter for Worcester News since September 2017, covering Premiership rugby union for Worcester Warriors, professional cricket for Worcestershire CCC, and Worcester City FC. Additionally, Andy has been a Public Announcer for Birmingham City FC since 2016, focusing on match presentation and content creation for the women's team, while also acting as a stand-in stadium announcer for the men's team. Prior experience includes a role as a Multimedia Sports Reporter at Bournemouth Daily Echo from May 2013 to August 2016, where coverage included AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League, Poole Pirates in speedway, and various rugby and football events. Earlier in Andy's career, freelance work was undertaken with Write Angle Media, focusing on non-league football and rugby union.
