Cem Arel

Cem Arel's work experience begins in 1996 when they worked in sales for Kaktusblomman AB, representing tile companies and importing tumbled marble to Sweden. In 2000, they founded Room 328, a software company focused on home decoration ideas and 3D visualization. Cem served as the CEO and founder of Room 328 until 2019, during which they learned about raising money from investors and made operational and strategic mistakes. Additionally, from 2000 to 2019, they were the chairman of Room328 AB.

In 2011, Cem founded Copypanthers, an SEO and translation agency primarily serving the iGaming, affiliation, and ecommerce industries. In 2019, all clients and freelancers from Copypanthers were transitioned to their newly built freelance platform, Wordapp.com. Cem served as the CEO and founder of Copypanthers until this transition occurred.

More recently, Cem Arel has engaged in other ventures. In 2019, they became a limited partner at Brightly Ventures and co-founded IdealofMeD. In 2020, they joined as a board member at Klingit. Finally, in early 2023, they became a limited partner at node.vc.

Cem Arel pursued a Master of Finance degree from Stockholm University from 1997 to 2000.
